Honestly, since the drama of the past few weeks won’t be too strongly remembered in history, he’ll have been one of the best US presidents in all time, especially for climate + workers rights

It’s staggering that you need a fascist democracy ending opponent to put enough pressure on a neo liberal so they do at least a bit of good.

? None of us know what would have happened if Trump wasn’t the opposition. Based on anonymous commentary from Aides over the past few weeks, I’ve read in the New York Times, Axios, Politico, it seems that trump being the republican nominee was actually the reason Biden was so reluctant to drop out, as he believed (until saturday) he could do better against trump than Harris could.

I meant to say that maybe a lot of the good things in Biden’s presidency were a result of the specter of Trump looming over his shoulder.

Now we all get to enjoy the entertainment of Democrats finding a replacement that can be stomached.

As someone named Joe, you have no idea how many nicknames I have had throughout my life… my friends pride themselves with giving me a new one every few months.
