Letting war criminals into your big tent dilutes any good you’re doing. They’re war criminals, Joel, not just people who “don’t see eye to eye” with you.
Not surprising to see this though, Joel always approaches every political issue as a philosophical exercise to figure out using the correct rhetorical strategy, a neat little game to solve. So of course he doesn’t see the historical atrocities that Cheney and co are responsible for as real, there’s a bigger bad on the horizon so it’s all just a trolley problem.
