Sore Throat said it and were right, death to capitalist hardcore. Hardcore is pretty far removed from punk at this point and is rige with chuds or just people who would have been nu metal guys if it was late 90s
there is a big schism forming in hardcore right now. luckily there are far fewer right leaning/chud shit bands but there are a gross number of “apolitical” outfits. most of the “revivalcore” bands that are bringing back the sound of the late 90s/early 00s are staunchly leftist (led by Knocked Loose).
only one “revivalcore” band stands out as right wing and that’s Kubali Khan TX. sucks too because i used to like them because they had some good anti-cop songs. turns out they are just lolbertarians but their frontman is friends with a fucking nazi so not a good look. so fuck em
