And agree on the art style. Though I’ve heard recently the washed out colors came from bad scans being sent tonamwrixa for promotional material and those became what we got used to. I heard it in a YouTube recently and haven’t looked it up

Same, I kinda like some of the washed out ones more. Tauros being s big one. It’s probably cause it’s what triggers nostalgia endorphins but I think some I’d genuine artistic preference. I LOVE Yoji Shinkawa’s art for metal gear and rip off constantly for my own stuff, that watercolor smear with negative white space here and there is a vibe
