Some people like to do other things than watch 10,000 different shows and movies everyone around us recommends.
People almost never recommend some other activity. Just whatever random thing they enjoyed watching recently. Of course other people aren’t always going to keep up. But if you say “thanks but I won’t be getting around to it” for some reason humans get butthurt.
