I have a stove top like that … and I’ve never once thought of doing this … now that I see it … I’m wondering if I should.

No, it’s incredibly difficult to clean, even though it’s a glass surface.

It also cooks super unevenpy since only some spots are hot.

I’m dumb but not stupid … don’t worry guys, I’m not even going to attempt this … I know how to cook and I know not to do this … even as a joke.

I have seen griddles you can put on your glass top of you wanted to do something like this, i would check how it drains though and make sure you are prepared for that, don’t want to start a grease fire

… then my second thought was … ‘I’m not going to try this … why would someone even try this’

Like I said, I never thought of it until I saw it as a meme, then wondered if I should … I’m a silly adult but I’m not stupid … just cleaning the damned surface after doing that would be horrible let alone eating anything you would cook on it.

Honestly you could get a griddle for your stove top and get a much safer, cleaner and overall better experience. Costs some money, but you could probably find one that would hold up for under $50

As long as he cleans the stove after, there’s still potential for a delicious meal

I hate that I don’t know for sure that the person did this to prove that it could be done.
