Hey, Hollywood. Want something new? Let’s go back to the big elephant man, and explore that side of things. Where are they from? Can we make contact? We’re they exterminated by the xemomorphs? It’s a nice, big, juice dangling thread that hasn’t (to my knowledge) been tugged at.

The prequel movies dabbled a bit in that.

In the first, an old and dying billionaire funds a private space expedition after some scientists identify a location in ancient scribings on earth, hoping the makers can prevent his death. The expedition is actually successful and they find a ship full of dead engineers (the big elephant men) with one being alive in stasis. They wake him up, but it turns out they aren’t very fond of their creation and were on their way to exterminate us.

In the second film we see david (essentially the creator of the xenomorphs) exterminate a planet inhabited by the engineers using their own weapon.

Granted they could still delve deeper into the subject, perhaps explaining why they first created humanity and then decided that we must be purged again. Maybe they still do a third prequel movie for that.

Scream not working because space make deaf

That makes more sense to me than soundwaves can’t be heard in space because of no friction or I don’t know some scientific words that I can’t understand.

this reminds me of the glorious dvdjatekos meme. it was an incredibly bad translation of the manual of a dvd player, so bad it became an early 2000s internet meme in hungary.

sadly for you, it’s in hungarian.
